County Pairs contest

IN the county pairs championship last 16 match on Thursday, Ivor Davies & Gregg Scott put in a good performance but the quality of the international level players from Tilehurst, Andy Knapper (left) and Adrian Collins proved too much - and they went out 22-9.

The Memorial Pairs day was bathed in sunshine and the 13 pairs battled in two leagues with the leading pair in each contesting the final.
